Role: HSE Consultant

Position Description:
- General Duties of the field HSE Consultant include program/policy development and implementation and performing workplace safety audits and inspections.
- OSHA Assistance to include inspection consulting and representation.
- Support and effectively engage with business partners to promote our culture of Operational Excellence.
- Performs tasks in a wide range of environmental, health and safety disciplines to achieve compliance with the organization's EH&S standards and with federal and state regulatory requirements.
- Assists in monitoring and preventing chemical, physical and biological hazards and diseases that could be present in the work area.
- Ensures HSE excellence through training, involvement in behavior based programs, auditing of management and safety systems, rig inspections, gathering and trending leading and trailing indicators, and participation in the incident investigation & reporting processes.
- Development of company/site/project specific safety plans.
- Development of Job Safety Analysis and Hazard Assessments.
- Creation and review of Safety Committees within an organization.
- Support high risk activities.
- Identify and actively support high risk activities for Wells Operations.
- Work plan is identified, and individuals know their role.
- Work permits are in place with proper authorization.
- Start Work Checks are completed to verify SYLA are in place.
Requirements:
- Experience in civil/mechanical construction in the oil and gas industry
- Requires a strong understanding of discipline.
- Able to apply knowledge and experience to complex problems and develop recommendations.
- Makes decisions within broad parameters.
- Acts as an informal resource for others with less experience.
Position Details:
Location: Local to Canonsburg, PA
Pay: $106.25/hr (1099)
Job Type: Contract (1099)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hour days
