Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a growing Engineering firm in Little Rock, seeking a professional and detail-oriented Receptionist to join their team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients, vendors, and visitors while supporting the office with critical administrative duties. This position offers excellent potential for growth into human resources or accounting support for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Professionally manage a high volume of incoming phone calls, particularly during peak seasonal activity in the summer and winter months.
- Monitor and respond promptly to emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain the front desk reception area and create a welcoming environment for visitors.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, coordinating calendars, and managing conference room bookings.
- Perform general administrative duties including scanning, filing, and maintaining digital records.
- Support internal staff with supply ordering, mail distribution, and document preparation.
- As skill and interest allow, assist in basic HR or accounting functions, such as filing employee documents or processing vendor invoices.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative or receptionist role.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong multitasking and time-management abilities, particularly in busy periods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and professionalism.
- Trustworthy and adaptable, with a willingness to take on new responsibilities as the firm continues to grow.
