Job Description
We are seeking skilled Extrusion Machine Operators to join our team. You will play a crucial role in setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality products. This position offers competitive hourly rates based on experience and includes shift differentials for second and third shifts.
Responsibilities
- Set up, run, and break down product on equipment.
- Read and properly fill out required paperwork.
- Input data into the SAP system.
- Monitor and inspect product for conformance to specifications and ensure product is free of defects.
- Follow ISO documentation to meet customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean working area.
- Collaborate with colleagues within and outside the department to ensure smooth production.
- Prepare product for transfer to another department as necessary.
- Perform light maintenance on equipment.
- Support and contribute to current Total Quality Management System (TQM) and Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by adhering to stated policies and procedures.
- Engage with management on future processes including ISO and lean manufacturing.
Essential Skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Manufacturing experience
- Basic math skills
- Experience with extrusion
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Extrusion experience is a plus
- Ability to distinguish color-coded wires (cannot be colorblind)

Work Environment
Our facility is temperature-controlled, clean, and well-lit, providing a comfortable work environment. Shifts include: 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm, 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:30pm with a 10% differential, and 3rd shift from 11pm to 7:30am with a 15% differential.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Grafton, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
