Position: RN-L&D-Labor and Delivery (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns.

• Monitor and assess fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.

• Participate in continuous professional development and training.

• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures for patient safety.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

• Contribute to a growth-oriented and results-driven work environment.

• Engage in self-assessment to improve personal performance.

• Educate patients and families about labor and delivery processes.

• Utilize pipelines to track patient progress and outcomes.

• Support team members in achieving collective goals.

Experience/Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia with specialization in L&D.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.

• Proficiency in fetal monitoring and maternal vital signs assessment.

• Strong ability to collaborate with healthcare teams for patient outcomes.

• Ability to educate families about labor and delivery processes.

• Commitment to continuous professional development and training.

• Excellent record-keeping skills for accurate patient documentation.

• Demonstrated self-assessment skills for personal performance improvement.

• Comfort with high visibility of work activity and results.

• Experience in utilizing pipelines to track patient progress and success.
