Position Summary:

The Foreman / Crew Leader is responsible for leading a production crew through each job from start to completion while ensuring quality workmanship, jobsite safety, efficiency, and an exceptional customer experience. This role combines hands-on installation work with leadership, accountability, and team development.

Essential Job Functions:

Leadership, Management & Accountability (LMA)

  • Communicate job tasks, expectations, and updates to the crew before, during, and after each job
  • Train crew members on proper installation methods, tools, equipment, and materials
  • Maintain a strong safety-first culture for yourself and your team
  • Motivate, encourage, and recognize team performance
  • Address performance or behavioral issues and communicate concerns to the Production Manager as needed

Installations & Job Execution

  • Review job specifications prior to departure and ensure all required materials and tools are loaded
  • Assess jobsite conditions upon arrival and adjust plans as needed
  • Perform high-quality installations while maintaining production timelines
  • Troubleshoot jobsite issues and adapt processes as necessary
  • Ensure jobs are completed on time and to company standards
  • Collect payment upon job completion, when required
  • Complete all required paperwork and submit to appropriate company personnel

Customer Experience

  • Communicate with customers throughout the project using company-approved messaging tools
  • Clearly explain and receive approval for any job changes prior to execution
  • Ensure customer satisfaction upon job completion
  • Leave the customer’s home clean and proactively improve conditions where possible
  • Deliver a consistently remarkable customer experience

Position Requirements:

  • Knowledge of construction or related trades preferred
  • Experience operating equipment and/or power tools preferred
  • Comfortable using a smartphone, tablet, and job-related applications
  • Ability to read and interpret written materials or digital screens up to 75% of the time
  • Lead Installer: Ability to speak, read, and write English; Spanish is a plus
  • Installer: Ability to understand spoken English
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in construction trades, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly
  • Ability to stand or remain upright up to 100% of the workday
  • Ability to work at floor level, in crawl spaces, and varied jobsite environments
  • Valid driver’s license (and/or CDL), clean driving record, and ability to drive company vehicles
