Job Title: Staff Accountant

Compensation: $65,000 – $70,000 base salary + potential bonus
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing accounting team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build on a strong general ledger foundation while gaining exposure to more complex accounting responsibilities. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and supporting schedules
- Analyze variances and assist with identifying trends or discrepancies
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data
- Contribute to process improvements and increased efficiencies within the accounting function
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a larger or more structured organization
- Strong general ledger experience and understanding of core accounting principles
- Demonstrated career progression with increasing levels of responsibility
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Desire to continue learning, developing, and advancing within accounting
