Full-Time | Exempt | Reports to: Director of Operations
Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role requires deep expertise in production processes, with a strong background in finishing, paint application, and quality control. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who excels at floor-level execution, continuous improvement, and driving results through people. Bilingual in Spanish (preferred) and English, this person will be essential in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and exceptional craftsmanship.
· Key Responsibilities
· Lead all daily production activities to ensure high-quality, on-time, and cost-effective outputs
· Oversee finishing and paint departments, ensuring standards of excellence in product aesthetics and durability
· Take a floor-level, active role in operations — visible, engaged, and responsive to production needs
· Develop, coach, and mentor production staff, promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and respect
· Drive efficiency improvements and reduce waste, downtime, and rework through lean practices
· Collaborate with quality, design, and logistics teams to ensure seamless processes and customer satisfaction
· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and safety standards
· Manage labor and material costs, department budgets, and performance KPIs to align with financial goals
· Support strategic planning, capacity growth, and workforce planning
· Foster strong communication and alignment across cross-functional departments
· Qualifications
· 5+ years of leadership experience in a production or warehouse environment, with a focus on finishing and paint operations
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field preferred
· OSHA 10 or 30 General Industry certification required
· Bilingual (Spanish preferred), with excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Proven ability to manage diverse teams, resolve conflict, and build positive work environments
· Strong operational and financial acumen (budgeting, cost control, resource planning)
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/production management systems
· Experience with production scheduling, workflow optimization, and lean methodologies
· High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize under tight deadlines
· Physical Requirements
· Ability to walk 15,000–20,000 steps daily across warehouse/production floor
· Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs
· Work is conducted in a non-temperature-controlled facility that may be noisy or busy
· Ability to access and navigate all production departments
· Work hours: Typically Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM; flexibility required for operational needs
Pay Details: $110,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
