The Johnson Team at CrossCountry Mortgage is hiring a Loan Officer Assistant for our Bloomington branch.
We are seeking a full-time sales assistant for our residential mortgage team. This is a very dynamic position. No experience is required, as we have extensive training available and a detailed process in place. Today's mortgage industry is rapidly growing, and income potential is excellent. This position is a great opportunity to learn how to do mortgages the right way.

Basic job duties:
- Takes incoming calls from mortgage clients and applications, and schedules time with the team leader
- Talk with clients to complete basic application information, collect documents, and process loans through various software programs
- Manage incoming clients to ensure proper follow up and conversion are accomplished
- Manage client expectations and updates until a property is found and the client is under contract
This is an in-office position with some remote work flexibility. Hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, with some schedule flexibility.
Compensation:
$45,000 - $65,000 per year
Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments, including travel arrangements or other company engagements
- Answer phone calls and emails to act as a liaison between clients and staff members to improve customer retention and referral rates
- Oversee online and print marketing efforts
Qualifications:
- Shows ability to quickly finish very detailed work
- Shows great interpersonal skills and excellent written communication
- Technologically savvy; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel programs and filing systems with the ability to learn new programs quickly and troubleshoot common issues
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in office management or our industry is a plus
