A dynamic full-time contract opportunity is available for an experienced paraprofessional who is passionate about supporting students in an educational setting. This role starts as soon as possible and is committed through the upcoming school year as well. Working 1:1 with students, you’ll play a crucial role in assisting with academic and behavioral support, enabling students to thrive in their learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience in a Paraprofessional capacity within schools
- Familiarity with 1:1 student support, including implementing accommodations and modifications
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, specialists, and other staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining a supportive, patient, and encouraging atmosphere for students
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, individualized support to students on your caseload as directed by certified staff
- Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and inclusion in academic and social settings
- Help implement instructional programs and behavior interventions according to student needs
- Document student progress and communicate observations to educators and support staff
- Foster a respectful, safe, and engaging learning experience for each student
