Job DescriptionENLISTMENT REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

Eligibility:

  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien.
  • Good physical condition.
  • Good moral standing.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.


Role Overview:
Army Human Resource Specialists (MOS 42A) perform personnel and administrative functions, providing HR support to all military members. They ensure readiness, health, and welfare of soldiers.

Qualifications and Training:

  • Minimum ASVAB scores: 100 General Technical (GT), 90 Clerical (CL)
  • Ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
  • 10 weeks Basic Combat Training (BCT).
  • 9 weeks Advanced Individual Training (classroom and hands-on)
  • Possible advanced training depending on unit assignment.


Helpful Skills:

  • Communication and people skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed orders.
  • English and business administration aptitude.


Requirements:

  • U.S. citizen or I-551 cardholder.
  • Age 17-34.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass background check and drug screen.
  • No felony convictions.
  • Good health with no physical limitations.


Compensation:

  • Housing, medical, and food allowances.
