Job Requirements:
•Minimum 10 years of Class A or B Driving Experience, or 5 years of operating a dump truck.
•Valid CDL required.
•High school diploma or higher education.
•Excellent communication skills
•Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point; knowledge of Samsara a plus.
•Ability to lift, bend, climb and kneel as needed.
•Driver training experience preferred but not required
Job Description:
•Conducting road tests for driver candidates and communicate qualification results to Human Resources.
•Assist with driver orientation and onboarding processes.
•Deliver classroom and field training for all new hires.
•Monitor ELD/Camera systems and report serious conduct issues to Human Resources for disciplinary actions.
•Perform job site visits to ensure driver safety and job site compliance.
•Report recurring behavioral issues to Human Resources for further actions.
•Inspect drivers during pre-trip and post-trip routines; aid with issues as well as equipment problems. (CB radios, etc.)
•Serve as a liaison with foremen, building relationships and recommending safety improvements.
•Assist mechanics by moving trucks and facilitating vehicle swaps as needed.
•Travel to other company locations as required.
•Support Human Resources in accident and incident investigations to determine root causes.
•Conduct ride-alongs with drivers to assess performance and safety.
