About the Role
Our confidential client is expanding its claims team and seeking a Claims Specialist to support intake, investigation, adjudication, and customer communications. You'll resolve claims efficiently while delivering a clear, empathetic customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Review new claims for completeness; verify coverage and eligibility
- Investigate facts, obtain statements and documentation, and assess liability
- Calculate benefits and issue approvals/denials within authority limits
- Collaborate with providers/adjusters; escalate complex cases as needed
- Maintain accurate notes and status updates in the claims system
- Track SLAs and quality metrics; recommend process improvements
What You'll Bring
- 1-2+ years in claims processing/claims administration (health, dental, P&C, or related)
- Familiarity with EOBs, coordination of benefits, and claim coding basics
- Strong documentation, time management, and customer?care skills

- Type: Temp to Hire; full time, Monday-Friday
- Location: Phoenix, AZ (onsite; client will discuss flexibility)
