Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Job Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Desired Location: Seneca, South Carolina

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in a family birth center. The RN will provide comprehensive care across labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum (LDRP), and nursery settings, supporting both mothers and newborns.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP)

• Assist in labor and delivery procedures, including circulating responsibilities

• Deliver care in acute care nursery and OB triage

• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery

• Perform newborn care, including hearing screenings

• Manage postpartum mother-baby care (couplet care)

• Administer medications and manage high-risk conditions (e.g., magnesium patients)

• Maintain accurate documentation within EMR systems

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience

• Active RN License (State or Compact)

• BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate required

• Advanced NRP Certification required

• STABLE Certification required

• Lactation Certification required

• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
