Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School
An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support the munication needs of students in an elementary school setting in Fremont, CA, for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time contract position involves working across 2-3 sites, managing a diverse caseload of up to 55 students from PreK to 8th grade.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Disorders
- Current California SLP license and credential
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children, particularly in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal and munication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Location:
- Fremont, CA (Multiple elementary school sites)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student goals
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet requirements
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student achievement
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach
- Provide resources and strategies for parents and staff to reinforce munication skills
