  • Schedule: Fully onsite, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

Position Overview

  • Inside sales and customer support role with a strong administrative focus.
  • Primary responsibility is supporting Regional Sales Managers by preparing quotations, processing documentation, managing pricing, and handling customer communication.
  • Approximately 70-80% of the role consists of email and phone interaction with customers regarding quotes, orders, delivery updates, shipping, and customer service issues.
  • Opportunity for long-term growth into an Outside Sales position as the North American business continues to expand.

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous inside sales experience is highly preferred.
  • Manufacturing, metals, industrial distribution, or aerospace industry experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Looking for someone who wants to grow professionally and build a long-term career with the company.
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy are critical.
  • Must be comfortable learning products independently and taking initiative.

Technical Skills

  • Salesforce experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are important, particularly for pricing worksheets, inventory review, and contract development.
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus


Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales / Customer Support Representative to join our growing North American headquarters team. This role serves as the primary support for Regional Sales Managers by preparing quotations, processing customer orders, maintaining pricing documentation, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong organizational skills, and is eager to build a career in sales. While this position is heavily focused on customer support and inside sales responsibilities, there is significant opportunity for professional growth into an outside sales role as the organization continues to expand.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare customer quotations and pricing using internal ERP systems, Excel, and Salesforce.
  • Process customer orders accurately and coordinate delivery schedules with customers and manufacturing facilities.
  • Support Regional Sales Managers by preparing quotes, reviewing contracts, and managing sales documentation.
  • Maintain customer records, opportunities, and sales activity within Salesforce CRM.
  • Assist with pricing worksheets, inventory verification, and contract documentation.
  • Coordinate material certifications (MTRs), shipping documentation, and freight-related paperwork.
  • Communicate with customers primarily through email and phone regarding quotations, order status, delivery updates, and shipping inquiries.
  • Resolve customer questions and service issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Coordinate with North American and European teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Learn company products and industry applications through internal training programs.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy with data entry and documentation.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment while taking initiative to learn new processes and responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, sales support, or account coordination.
  • Manufacturing, industrial distribution, metals, or aerospace industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience preparing quotations, processing orders, or supporting a sales team is highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and data entry skills.
  • Comfortable working extensively with Microsoft Excel, including pricing worksheets and inventory tracking.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM is preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
