We are seeking an experienced Billing &amp; Collections Clerk with a background in the trucking/transportation industry to join our team in Pooler, GA.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Prepare and send trucking and freight invoices</li>
<li>Apply customer payments (ACH, wire, check, electronic)</li>
<li>Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on past-due balances</li>
<li>Handle collections with brokers, shippers, and customers</li>
<li>Research billing discrepancies, short pays, and accessorial charges</li>
<li>Maintain accurate billing and payment records</li>
<li>Provide administrative support related to billing and accounting</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Previous experience in trucking or transportation billing/collections required</li>
<li>Knowledge of freight invoicing and payment terms</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)</li>
<li>PCS or accounting software experience a plus</li>
</ul>
