Through clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research and evidence based practice, The Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for provision of competent care based on established standards. The Level II Registered Nurse assumes an expanded role, which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

***MUST HAVE STEPDOWN EXPERIENCE ***

Requirements

  • MUST HAVE STEPDOWN EXPERIENCE/PCU EXPERIENCE
  • BLS
  • High acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience required
  • Telemetry Experience Required
  • RN License (NY License ONLY)
  • Two (2) Years Experience
    ACLS MUST HAVE
    NIHSS PREFERRED

    ****Needs experience in Q1 neuro checks, EVDs, lumbar drains, sub-dural drains, 3%NS and cardene drips, arterial lines, carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coil/clips, DBS Insertion (Deep Brain Stimulator), VP shunts, seizures.

48 hours & 36 hours (Both available)\n\nFor 48 hours : $3200/Week\n\nFor 36 hours: $2510/Week
