JVM is seeking an HR Generalist to join our team and provide administrative support for all human resources functions. The HR Generalist will assist with recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance under the supervision of the HR Manager. This role will play a key part in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews and processing new hire paperwork
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding process
  • Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel
  • Conduct new hire orientations
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Assist in conducting investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth
  • Assist in resolving employee conflicts and grievances
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date human resources records, reports, and compliance requirements
  • Assist with open enrollment and benefits administration
  • Assist in the coordination of company-wide events and recognition programs
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2-3 years of human resources experience
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
