Job Description
The Mission
Mood Fabrics are looking for a high-aptitude Inventory Control Specialist to own the lifecycle of 10,000+ unique SKUs within our e-commerce fulfillment engine. This isn't a "behind-the-desk" job or a "mindless lifting" job, it’s a hybrid role for a tactical thinker who can execute complex data management while physically managing the flow of goods. You will be the primary link between our Lodi distribution hub and our global Mood Fabrics showroom presence. This role is perfect for someone who loves organization and fashion and wants to be part of a rapidly growing business.
Core Logistics Responsibilities
Asset Integrity Management: Take full ownership of 10,000+ fabric, trim, and button assets. You are responsible for ensuring that the physical reality of our warehouse and showrooms matches our digital records with 100% precision.
Pipeline Oversight: Coordinate the internal supply chain of fabric and trim samples from receipt to showroom delivery. You will verify all material movements, ensuring samples are properly allocated to their locations, labeled, and staged for high-priority shipments.
Root Cause & Variance Resolution: Lead investigations to resolve stock discrepancies. You will audit material movement history (Receiving → Put-away → Replenishment → Consumption) to identify and fix system leaks.
Systems Utilization: Actively manage data within our NCR Counterpoint (ERP/POS) environment, utilizing Excel for advanced tracking and reporting.
Quality Assurance (QA): Perform final inspections on outbound showroom assets to ensure they meet Mood’s brand standards before they enter the retail environment.
The Candidate Profile: "Brain & Brawn"
Analytical Aptitude: You can look at a spreadsheet and a warehouse rack and see the connection. You enjoy solving puzzles and don't stop until the numbers balance.
Physical Capability: This is an active logistics role. You will be on your feet, navigating stairs and ladders, and must be capable of lifting 50 lbs unassisted as part of daily stock replenishment.
Technical Proficiency: Highly comfortable in a tech-forward warehouse environment (G-Suite, Excel, and Inventory Control Systems).
Communication: You can translate "warehouse talk" into clear updates for Buyers and Showroom Managers.
