Employment Solutions is looking for a Shipping Operator to join a manufacturing company in the Miramar area. The right candidate will be highly energy, detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with experience leading packaging operations, and supporting cross-functional teams.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industry
- Experience with order picking and inventory handling
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, or extended shifts as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without restriction
- Experience operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
Essential Functions
- Pick and process work orders using handheld scanners
- Organize and maintain inventory within assigned bin locations
- Accurately place materials in designated warehouse locations
- Perform cycle counts for components, raw materials, bulk goods, and finished products
- Conduct physical inventory counts as requested by management and submit results in a timely manner
- Assist in maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned
- Adhere to company safety policies related to material handling, forklift operation, and equipment use
- Follow company security procedures to protect merchandise, equipment, and company assets
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and ensure proper equipment use
- Participate in periodic warehouse inventory counts as needed
- Support shipping and receiving operations
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
