Research & Strategy Associate
Class Action Capital is a boutique class action claims management firm in the global litigation finance industry specializing in the identification, research, data analysis, and filing of complex class action claims for corporate clients.
As a Research & Strategy Associate at Class Action Capital, you will play a pivotal role in valuing client sign-ups and case opportunities, conducting in-depth market research, and leveraging data to identify efficiencies and unlock new avenues for growth. The ideal candidate is analytically minded, proactive, and eager to make a measurable impact on the business through both structured processes and independent problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Perform valuations of client sign-ups and prospective case opportunities, assessing claim size, eligibility, and recovery potential.
- Conduct in-depth market research on industry trends and competitive landscapes to support strategic decision-making.
- Leverage data-driven insights to identify patterns, flag anomalies, and generate actionable intelligence that supports the firm’s growth.
- Translate data analysis into clear strategic narratives - identifying patterns and emerging opportunities and presenting findings to the sales strategy team.
- Proactively identify opportunities to create operational efficiencies across research workflows, data pipelines, and reporting processes - recommending and implementing improvements where possible.
- Collect and integrate new data sources to expand the firm’s research capabilities and ensure comprehensive coverage of relevant markets.
- Collaborate and communicate cross-functionally with client-facing and operations teams to translate research findings into strategies that drive business growth.
- Utilize AI-powered tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity) to enhance research, streamline data processing workflows, and improve the speed and accuracy of case valuations.
Requirements
- 2-3+ years of relevant professional work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.
- Salesforce experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement data-driven solutions.
- Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset - motivated to think beyond individual tasks and contribute to the broader success of the firm.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, concise reports
Benefits
- Compensation (based on relevant work experience): $80,000-$100,000 + Annual Discretionary Bonus
