Receptionist answers incoming calls for a busy physical therapy practice taking care of existing patient scheduling needs and also gathering information from new patients as well as scheduling their evaluation appointments. Greet patients as they arrive for appointments and checking them in on our EMR (electronic medical records) program, collect payments and managing appointment needs. Make paper charts for new patients for their first visit. Scan patient documents into our EMR program. Additional duties include posting patient payments to their accounts. Light filing is also required. The ideal candidate needs to be friendly, courteous and professional during all communications with patients. It is helpful to have an understanding of medical terminology and health insurance. This is a part-time position. Hours are 1:00 PM- 6:15 PM. Monday through Friday.
