Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 36 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
- Rapidly assess and triage patients in critical situations
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
- Accurately document all patient interventions and outcomes
- Efficiently administer medications and emergency interventions per protocol
- Occasionally float to other units as needed
- Participate in on-call rotation and work occasional weekends and holidays
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- RN with valid KS or compact state license
- Minimum 3 years’ ER nursing required; 5+ years preferred
- Large facility or trauma center experience preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
- Able to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- Orientation begins Mondays; credentials must be submitted by the prior Wednesday
