Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • 36 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
  • Rapidly assess and triage patients in critical situations
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
  • Accurately document all patient interventions and outcomes
  • Efficiently administer medications and emergency interventions per protocol
  • Occasionally float to other units as needed
  • Participate in on-call rotation and work occasional weekends and holidays

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • RN with valid KS or compact state license
  • Minimum 3 years’ ER nursing required; 5+ years preferred
  • Large facility or trauma center experience preferred
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
  • Able to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Orientation begins Mondays; credentials must be submitted by the prior Wednesday
