Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing billing operations with accuracy and efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment located in Billerica, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and issue accurate billing statements to clients in a timely manner.
• Manage and maintain billing records, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate.
• Process billing collections and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely resolution.
• Operate and oversee computerized billing systems to streamline invoicing processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency.
• Generate detailed billing reports for management review and audit purposes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to billing.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries regarding invoices and payments.• Proven experience in billing functions, including creating and managing invoices.
• Familiarity with billing collections processes and procedures.
• Proficiency in operating computerized billing systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling billing statements.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
