This full-time opportunity seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students with disabilities in a K-12 school setting. The role offers 32.5 hours per week for a full semester contract, starting as soon as possible through the end of May. The position involves working in either 1:1 or classroom environments to provide behavioral support tailored to students' individual educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Work directly with students with disabilities, supporting skill development and positive behaviors.
- Collect accurate data on student progress to inform ongoing treatment planning.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school personnel to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with students, families, and staff.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in educational or clinical settings.
- Ability to follow detailed treatment protocols while being flexible to meet student needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting students growth.
