Overview
CTG is seeking to fill a Quality Engineer position for our client in Waltham, MA.
Location: Waltham, MA (Remote work allowed)
Duration: 5 months
Duties:

Lead QA/Test efforts for projects and applications, ensuring quality and compliance with client requirements.

Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and automated scripts.

Manage test execution, defect tracking, and CI/CD pipelines.

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to QA teams.

Collaborate with cross-functional and multi-vendor teams using Agile frameworks and tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
Skills:
-
Mandatory experience with DERMS.

Strong knowledge of Electric and Gas business processes (asset management, outage planning, customer operations).

Test automation, CI/CD, and cloud-based testing expertise.

Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Familiarity with NG platforms (M360, CSS, Kraken) is a plus.

ISTQB or equivalent QA certification desirable.

Regulatory compliance testing experience (SOX, NERC) a plus.
Experience:
-
10+ years in QA/Test leadership, with at least 5 years in the Energy & Utility domain.

Proven success managing multi-vendor teams and cross-functional delivery.

Hands-on Agile, CI/CD, and test automation experience.
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $80,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is also offered.
