Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This Speech Language Pathologist role is designed for professionals passionate about making a meaningful impact in a K-12 educational setting. Located onsite in New Braunfels, TX, this contract position covers the school year from August through June 2026, offering a consistent 37.5-hour workweek with a caseload serving students across all grade levels. Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Texas Speech Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience working in school settings highly preferred
- Bilingual skills are a strong plus to support K-12 students effectively
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Provide consultative services to school staff, parents, and administrators
- Maintain all required documentation and comply with district and state regulations
