PreMeducated is seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Remote Pathology Tutor to join our growing team. In this role, you will work one-on-one with medical students to help them master pathology content for coursework, board exams (including USMLE Step 1 and COMLEX Level 1), and clinical application. This is an ideal role for individuals with a strong foundation in pathology who enjoy teaching and mentoring in a flexible, remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized tutoring sessions focused on pathology, including systems-based and general principles.

  • Clarify complex topics such as disease mechanisms, histopathology, clinical correlations, and key high-yield pathology concepts.

  • Support students preparing for USMLE, COMLEX, or medical school exams by providing targeted review and study planning.

  • Create or adapt visual aids, concept maps, and teaching tools to enhance understanding.

  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.

  • Maintain clear communication with students and PreMeducated staff to ensure quality and consistency of support.

Qualifications:

  • MD, DO, or advanced degree in a related biomedical field (e.g., pathology, medical sciences) required. Students, Residents and fellows are welcome to apply.

  • Strong academic performance in pathology (coursework, Step 1/COMLEX).

  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred, especially in a medical or graduate-level setting.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex content.

  • Comfortable using remote teaching tools (Zoom, Google Docs, Anki, etc.).
