Job DescriptionElectronics TechnicianOverview
The Electronics Technician tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies electronic and electro-mechanical products and systems. This role applies electronic principles and testing methods to ensure quality, reliability, and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and mechanical assemblies to the component level
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation
- Perform automated and manual testing using specialized equipment
- Calibrate and adjust units; document results and non-conformance reports
- Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, KPIs, Standard Work)
- Maintain test records and equipment documentation
- Assist with training and technical support of other technicians
- Work overtime as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of related experience or equivalent education
- Strong troubleshooting and circuit-level repair skills
- Manufacturing or repair environment experience
- Proficiency with computer systems and test software
- Excellent communication and manual dexterity
- Assembly and soldering experience preferred
Work Environment
Manufacturing setting requiring PPE. Primarily seated work at a bench using computers and microscopes. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
