Our office is looking for a friendly, hardworking, enthusiastic new member to our team! We are a busy optometric practice in a great location in Silverlake/Los Feliz area. We are looking for a qualified and talented Optician. Spanish-speaking is a plus.
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>At least 2 years experience in optical sales</li>
<li>Knowledge of optical and optical lens technology</li>
<li>Excellent communication to assist with patient education and translate doctor's recommendations/prescriptions</li>
<li>Ability to multi-task</li>
<li>Superior customer service skills</li>
</ul>
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Optical dispensing: frame selection and lens recommendations</li>
<li>Quality inspection of completed orders</li>
<li>Troubleshooting prescription checks</li>
<li>Glasses adjustments and repairs</li>
</ul>
All opticians&nbsp;are cross-trained. Alongside the above requirements, employees will also be responsible for the following job duties: schedule and confirm appointments, answer phones, call for pick-ups, verify insurance, pre-testing patients and preparing charts for the doctor, dispense patient orders, glasses adjustments.
Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications.
