Amber Health Care/HealthWell NP is a caring, client-focused healthcare practice committed to helping people feel their best and live healthier lives. As a new and growing organization, we provide primary care and behavioral health services for both children and adults.
We are seeking&nbsp;a Phlebotomist Phlebotomy Technician&nbsp;to join our team! The phlebotomist will draw blood for tests, transfusions, donations, or research.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Collect and store blood samples from patients</li>
<li>Prepare specimens for in-house testing/and or send-out testing</li>
<li>Monitor storage and inventory of supplies</li>
<li>Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.</li>
<li>Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures</li>
<li>Assist in the recovery of patients with adverse reactions</li>
<li>Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric.</li>
</ul>
​Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Previous experience in phlebotomy&nbsp;or other related fields</li>
<li>Ability to build rapport with patients</li>
<li>Familiarity with medical software and equipment&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills</li>
</ul>
