Patient Coordinator (Dental Front Desk)

Jackson Family Dentistry is a privately owned, one-doctor dental practice focused on long-term patient relationships, high-quality care, and a strong team culture. We are not a corporate or DSO office.
We are seeking an experienced Patient Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for our patients and to help keep the daily schedule running efficiently.
This is a key role within the practice. The right candidate is organized, confident, and experienced in managing a busy dental front desk.
Schedule
- Monday – Wednesday: 6:45 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: Closed
- 1 Saturday per month: 6:45 AM – 1:30 PM
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Minimum 5 years of dental front desk/patient coordinator experience
- Strong working knowledge of dental insurance, verification, and patient communication
- Experience with scheduling, multi-line phones, and managing a busy front desk
- Professional communication skills (verbal and written)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
This is not an entry-level position. Dental experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients, creating a welcoming experience
- Manage scheduling, confirmations, and patient flow
- Answer phones, texts, and emails in a timely and professional manner
- Verify insurance and communicate benefits clearly to patients
- Coordinate treatment schedules with the clinical team
- Maintain accurate patient records in the practice management system
- Support overall front office operations and daily efficiency
Preferred Experience
- Eaglesoft experience
- Familiarity with Dexis, RevenueWell, or Zuub
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures
