Salary Range: $56,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate CMM inspection programs using CAD models and engineering drawings.
- Interpret complex engineering blueprints, GD&T, and specifications to create measurement routines.
- Perform first article inspections (FAI), in-process, and final inspections of manufactured parts.
- Troubleshoot and debug existing CMM programs and measurement processes.
- Generate detailed inspection reports and analyze measurement data.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure measurement accuracy and efficiency.
- Optimize CMM programs for efficiency, repeatability, and accuracy.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
- In-depth knowledge and practical application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D CAD models.
- Experience with various CMM hardware platforms and measurement techniques.
- Strong understanding of metrology principles and quality inspection processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for CMM programs and measurement discrepancies.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with other metrology equipment (e.g., vision systems, laser scanners)
- Proficiency in CAD software for model manipulation and fixture design
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis
- Certification in GD&T or ability to provide GD&T training
