Instructional Aide - Per Diem | Flexible School-Based Opportunities
Location: Lees Summit, MO

Seeking compassionate professionals to provide vital support to students in classroom settings through 1:1 or small-group assistance. This per diem role offers flexible shifts aligned with school coverage needs, ideal for individuals eager to make a meaningful difference in students academic, behavioral, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially in the classroom
• Provide personalized assistance following teacher and school staff guidance
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow individual education programs (IEPs) as applicable
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs when required
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Ability to complete a TB test as per school district mandates
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Current clearances as required, or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in special education, behavioral health, child care, or school settings
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training or certification in CPI, PMT, or RBT considered a plus
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach with a strong team mindset
