Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A middle school special education teaching position is available for the 20252026 school year contract, located in Anoka, MN. This role focuses on Setting III Emotional/Behavioral Disorders (EBD) and requires a strong commitment to supporting middle school students with specialized educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to middle school students in a Setting III EBD classroom.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district regulations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social and academic growth.
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 Teaching License with appropriate special education endorsement.
- Experience working with students in special education, specifically in EBD settings.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and collaborate with educators and support staff.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Work Details:
- Location: Anoka, MN Middle School setting.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:35 AM to 3:15 PM (37.5 hours per week).
- Contract Duration: January 5, 2026, through June 5, 2026.
