A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in Fremont, CA. This role is ideal for professionals holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology, who seek a flexible contract opportunity for the full school year (CSY) 2025-2026.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments, screenings, and evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students speech and language development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise toward goal setting and educational planning.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working with school-aged children from kindergarten through grade 12.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and school staff.
- Ability to deliver services in a flexible schedule, with availability 2-3 days per week and openness to adjusting hours as needed.
- Commitment to starting as soon as possible for the full school year.
