Job DescriptionNow HiringMachine OperatorRochester Hills, MI7pm-7am, Rotating Schedule - Every Other Weekend$17.00/hr
Join our team to support the Production of Connectors and ensure those parts are made according to the specifications of our customers.Clear and calm automotive assembly setting. Key ResponsibilitiesInclude, but are not limited to, the following:
- Learn the use of hand tools while assembling parts.
- Relief of fellow operators.
- Participate in continuous improvement process.
- Inspect parts to ensure accurate quality.
- Packs parts in boxes and bins for shipment will operate machines.
- Able to run at rate to meet machine quotas.
- Cleans surrounding work area.
- Uses 5S Sorting, Simply, Sweeping, Standardization, Self-discipline.
- May be assigned to perform other duties depending on plant needs.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 30lbs.
- Ability to stand for up to twelve (12) hours.
Preferred Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2+ years related experience in manufacturing and or assembly environment preferred
- Automotive Sector – Production Facilities
