SOLO OTR CLASS A CDL DRIVER
70 CPM | $26/HR | ASSIGNED 2022 EQUIPMENT
Carleton, MI
COMPENSATION:
$0.70 CPM for loads over 100 miles/day
$26.00/hour for:
- Less than 100 miles/day
- Pre & post trip inspections
- Fueling, loading and unloading
- Paid detention
- Safety bonus up to $1,800 annually (paid quarterly)
- 90-day raise opportunity
- Annual raise opportunities
Average Total Compensation:
$76,836 – $100,748
Annual miles: 75k–95k
HOME TIME:
January–June (Plant Shipping Season):
- Weekly home time
- Drivers are typically home multiple nights per week depending on route
- Occasional assistance with plant racks during peak shipping season
July–December:
- OTR contract freight
- Runs typically 7–14 days
- 2 days home for each week out
- Primarily no-touch freight

• Vanguard trailers
• Assigned truck (not shared)
• TV, microwave, refrigerator

• Well-maintained fleet
JOB SUMMARY:
Transport Proven Winners horticulture products and contracted linehaul freight across the Midwest, East Coast, Southeast, and Central U.S.
Operate assigned tractor and trailer safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.
Drivers serve as front-line ambassadors with customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Occasional assistance with plant racks during peak shipping season (January- June)
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Follow shipping documents and routing plans
• Maintain ELD compliance
• Report delays, equipment issues, incidents, or customer concerns
• Complete required DOT and company documentation
• Perform OTR linehaul loads July–December

REQUIREMENTS:
• CDL-A license
• 2+ years verifiable OTR experience
• Meet all DOT requirements
• No DUI/DWI or reckless driving in last 5 years
• No Clearinghouse refusals or failed tests

Drivers will transport our horticulture products and other contracted linehaul loads to customer destinations across the U.S. primarily in the Midwest, East Coast, Southeast, and Central U.S. regions covering annual mileage in the range of 75K- 95K for solos per year. Drivers are front line ambassadors for Proven Winners with our customers. Drivers will assist dock teams as appropriate with loading and unloading of horticultural products at Proven Winners Carleton and customer sites. Most linehaul loads will be no touch.
