Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Multiple contract positions are available across early childhood, elementary, and middle school levels, supporting students with a range of educational needs. These roles are onsite, offering the chance to directly impact and collaborate with students, staff, and the school community day-to-day.
Key Requirements:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification (South Carolina or eligibility for reciprocal certification)
- Experience working with students who have diverse learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disabilities, or multi-categorical diagnoses
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with general education staff, therapists, and families
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Willingness to work onsite throughout the contract period, August 2026 – June 2027
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students in self-contained and supplemental (hybrid) support classrooms
- Create a safe, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Engage with parents and caregivers to share student successes and collaborate on strategies
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and district requirements
- Contribute to school teams, participate in professional development, and support a positive classroom culture
