Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Location: Waterville, ME
Job Type: Contract

Compensation:

• Local: $25 – $30/hour (based on experience)

• Travel: $35 – $45/hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

• 3–4 days per week

• 12-hour shifts

• Day & Night shifts available

• Approximately 36 hours per week

• Shift details to be discussed during interview

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, supporting patient care, administering medications, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with individualized care plans

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes

• Assist with wound care and basic nursing procedures

• Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

• Follow infection control and safety protocols

• Respond promptly to patient needs

• Participate in care planning and team discussions

Qualifications

Education:

• Diploma or Certificate in Practical Nursing (preferred)

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active LPN license (required)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)

• IV certification (preferred)

Experience:

• New graduates are welcome (training provided)

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (preferred)

• Prior experience in SNF or long-term care (preferred)
