Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. This short-term position requires someone with exceptional communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capability to handle front desk responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The role involves providing a welcoming experience for visitors and supporting daily administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome and assist visitors, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate person or location.
• Handle incoming and outgoing packages, coordinating with couriers as necessary.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs and distribute security badges as required.
• Manage the scheduling and upkeep of the boardroom, including equipment setup.
• Provide general administrative support, such as typing, filing, photocopying, and preparing mailers.
• Ensure the reception area remains organized and detail-oriented at all times.
• Collaborate with the Workplace Experience Manager to address reactive needs as they arise.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Uphold confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
• Follow workplace policies regarding meal breaks and dress attire.• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to multitask and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently while managing time effectively.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CMMS, Concur, Kronos Timekeeping System, or other management systems is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure information is well-organized.
