Job Description

This role focuses on assembling electronic components and products using soldering techniques and basic assembly methods in a manufacturing environment. You will work with small parts, perform repetitive tasks with precision, and contribute to building high-quality electronic assemblies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electronic assembly tasks using hand soldering as a core part of daily work.
  • Assemble components and sub-assemblies according to work instructions and production requirements.
  • Read and follow blueprints and schematics when available, or learn to interpret them with provided training.
  • Operate basic manufacturing and assembly machinery as needed to support production.
  • Handle wiring and connectors to build and complete electronic assemblies.
  • Lift and move materials and products weighing up to 40 lbs as part of the assembly process.
  • Inspect completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and proper solder joints.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with manufacturing standards.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures within the manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills

  • Proven ability to perform soldering for electronic assembly work.
  • Experience in electronic assembly or similar hands-on assembly roles.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs safely and repeatedly during the shift.
  • Basic understanding of wiring and connectors used in electronic assemblies.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and production guidelines accurately.
  • Attention to detail and manual dexterity for working with small components.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience reading blueprints and schematics is highly preferred but not required, with training available.
  • Familiarity with schematic and blueprint reading for electronic components.
  • Previous experience operating manufacturing or assembly machinery is a plus.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and documentation methods.

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing environment focused on electronic assembly. You will work around production equipment, assembly stations, and small electronic components. The work involves standing for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks with your hands, and lifting up to 40 lbs as needed. The environment follows standard manufacturing safety and cleanliness practices, with structured procedures and clear production goals.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South El Monte, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
