Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A retail staff pharmacist position is available for a 13-week contract to hire in the Rathdrum, ID area, offering a focus on patient care and teamwork. This role involves working primarily first shift with a team-oriented environment supporting technicians and cashier staff.
Location:
- Rathdrum, Idaho
Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (if scheduled for Saturday, time off on Thursday or Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Provide patient counseling to ensure safe medication use
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations
- Deliver exceptional customer service and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team
- Manage prescription volume of approximately 300-400 per day using the Pioneer system
Qualifications:
- Current, clear, and active pharmacist license in Idaho
- Prior pharmacy experience, especially in retail settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well with a team and provide excellent patient care
- Updated resume, skills checklist, and references available for review
