Position: Vice President of Sales & Marketing


Company Profile

Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, Caspers Service Company (CSC) is a provider of repair, maintenance, and installation of commercial foodservice, refrigeration, beverage dispensing, and HVAC equipment for broad range of commercial kitchen and food preparation customers throughout Florida, such as restaurants, hotels, hospital, universities, event venue, and convenience stores, to name a few. With an experienced team of certified technicians and project managers, CSC is both equipment and OEM agnostic allowing them to handle most any repair, service, or installation need of a client.


Position Summary

This position will be responsible for developing and executing the sales and marketing strategy and efforts to attract and win new commercial kitchen and HVAC customers in the greater Florida area from Fort Myers to Jacksonville. The executive will be responsible for defining the target market, building a sales strategy, creating awareness within the industry, and managing all sales and marketing functions to promote CSC to restaurants, universities, resorts, stadiums and other high value commercial clientele. The individual must be creative, strategic, and resourceful.

This position will report to the President and work closely with other executives in operations, project management, and customer service. The individual needs to be a good communicator, organized, multi-skilled, and have an ability to work in a flat organizational structure.


Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy focused on industry, customer, service, and geography relative to CSCs capabilities and strengths.
  • Build and maintain a CRM database of existing and potential customers used as the central hub for all sales and marketing campaigns. Existing and potential customers must be segmented and classified for outreach based on CSCs sales and marketing strategy.
  • Drive sales and market share gains with existing and potential customers through proactive phone calls, emails, in-person visits, industry conferences, and marketing campaigns using both traditional and digital strategies including advertising, email marketing, social networks, company website, and internal creative services.
  • Build brand awareness and brand equity.
  • Generates daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to measure activity, win ratio, and effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts.
  • Analyze and report on industry trends and competitive landscape, ie size of addressable market, trends, growth rate, competitors, pricing, and other key aspects of the industry and target market.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Additional Responsibilities

  • Revise and implement the company sales and marketing strategy and plan, as needed.
  • Visit key customers quarterly.
  • Make in-person sales calls and presentations to potential customers.
  • Represent CSC with customers and business partners.
  • Coordinate and participate in drafting monthly, quarterly and annual managerial reports used in financial review, budgeting, and forecasting.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience and knowledge of the commercial kitchen and HVAC industries is required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales or management positions.
  • Willingness to travel weekly.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of CRM software.
  • Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail, able to work independently, and as a team player.
  • Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and business partners.
  • Ability to motivate, influence and interact with diverse groups of people.


The executive must be able to perform the essential job functions and requirements of the job either with or without direction. Compensation will be commensurate with the knowledge, capabilities, and experience.
