Job Title: School Psychologist (K–12) – Direct Offer
Location: Columbia, SC 29223
Work Arrangement: Onsite / Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Contract Term: 20 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Compensation:

Local (W2): Up to $65/hour ($2,437.50/week)

Travel: Up to $72/hour including stipends ($2,700/week)
Overview
An educational organization in Columbia, SC is seeking a School Psychologist (K–12) to support students for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year. This role focuses on promoting students’ academic achievement, behavioral health, and emotional well-being across elementary, middle, and high school settings.
While full-time onsite availability is preferred, a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) may be considered. Fully remote candidates are not eligible for this assignment.
Key Responsibilities

Psychological Evaluations: Conduct cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional assessments to determine eligibility for special education services

IEP Participation: Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings with data-driven recommendations and goal development

Intervention Services: Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs); provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed

Collaboration: Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support student mental health and classroom success

Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure adherence to all IDEA, state, and federal timelines
Qualifications & Requirements

Licensure: Active South Carolina School Psychologist license (required)

Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience required for premium bill rate eligibility

Education: Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

Clinical Expertise: Proficient in administering and interpreting a broad range of psychological assessments

Adaptability: Ability to manage a diverse caseload spanning K–12 grade levels
