Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving preschool-aged children in an itinerant role across Juniata and Mifflin Counties in Pennsylvania. This opportunity involves working within various early childhood educational settings such as local preschools and Head Start programs.

Location:

  • McVeytown, PA (Elementary School setting)
  • Service area includes Juniata and Mifflin Counties, PA

Position Details:

  • Contract role through the 2025-2026 school year
  • Part-time schedule, approximately 21-24 hours per week, over three days; potential for increased hours over time
  • Itinerant caseload primarily serving children ages 3 to 5
  • In-person position requiring travel between sites

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
  • Eligibility or possession of Special Education PK-12 educator credential
  • Experience working with preschool and elementary populations
  • Strong skills in delivering speech and language services in school-based settings

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to preschool-aged students across multiple locations
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with educators and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with program standards
