LaSante Health Center is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (FNP, PMHNP, or Psychiatric NP) to join our growing healthcare team. This part-time, in-office position is based in Brooklyn, NY, starting at 1 day per week, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position as the caseload allows.

Role Overview

Provide follow-up/re-evaluation assessments using DSM-5 criteria for existing ABA patients, to support continued authorization, treatment planning updates, and insurance recertification — not initial diagnostic evaluations. This is an in-office position with patient visits conducted via telehealth from our office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct follow-up clinical interviews and reassessments for current ABA patients

• Complete updated DSM-5-based documentation to support continued authorization/recertification

• Review progress and any changes in presentation since initial diagnosis

• Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and referring providers

• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Active NP license (FNP, PMHNP, or equivalent) in New York State

• Experience with pediatric and/or adult behavioral health assessment preferred

• Familiarity with autism spectrum disorder, ABA treatment plans, and insurance recertification/authorization processes a plus

• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
