Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time, contract position offers an excellent opportunity to provide psychological services within a K-12 school setting located in Yuba City, CA. The role is available immediately and will continue through the end of the current school year.
Responsibilities include conducting psychological evaluations, providing counseling and support to students, collaborating with teachers and parents, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings. The caseload comprises an elementary school with one preschool program, a Resource Specialist Program (RSP), and an Independent Living Skills (ILS) class. This role is well-suited for professionals who specialize in school psychology and are comfortable working with diverse student populations across multiple grade levels.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Experience as a School Psychologist in public schools K-12
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and provide interventions
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and students
- Familiarity with preschool, RSP, and ILS program requirements
- Current credential or license as a School Psychologist
