Location: Remote (Local candidates to DC Metro)

Job Description
The Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) is seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Curam with extensive healthcare domain expertise. Candidates must possess strong knowledge of SDLC processes, requirements gathering, Curam software, and enterprise-level documentation standards. Local candidates to the DC Metro area are strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory – 16+ Years Overall Experience
Core Business Analysis Expertise
- 16+ years working as a Business Analyst
- Strong experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Expertise in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation
- Proven ability to produce high-quality project deliverables
Tools & Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially PowerPoint)
- 5+ years hands-on SDLC experience
- 4+ years professional experience with MS Project and Visio
- 6+ years of professional experience with Curam software V6 or higher
Data Analysis & Curam-Specific Knowledge
- Hands-on experience with:

- IBM Knowledge Center Bus Analysis Guide
- Curam Data Dictionary
Communication & Leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization
- 2+ years proven experience driving and facilitating functional design sessions
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Equivalent experience accepted
Project Management
- 4+ years experience with project management methodologies
- Must be willing to attend in-person interviews if required
Key for Submission:- 3+ years of Project Management experience in Change and Release Management
(testing, updating, integrating hardware/software) - 2+ years experience in one or more of:
