As an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll play a vital role in helping students achieve their fullest potential. Step into the next school year prepared to make a difference, working with a range of ages and diverse populations from August 24, 2026, through June 12, 2027. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active, valid Virginia SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to multiple locations within the district
- Must be available to work onsite only
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students, addressing speech, language, and communication needs
- Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other service providers within multidisciplinary teams
- Document and track student progress, maintaining detailed records
- Participate in meetings, consultations, and family communications to support student success
